Al Hamriya Beach is divided into two parts, the beach park and the open beach, both with beautiful white sand, free of charge and easily accessible from early morning till late at night.
The beach park has a jogging track, toilets and shower and some gazebos with seating and tables.
Al Hamriya Beach Park has excellent disabled beach access. The first gazebos are wheelchair accessible along with the beach. A Mobi-mat and floating wheelchairs are available to enable People of Determination to go in the sea.
Club cars are also on site to assist them to the beach. The beach is certified by the World Disability Union. See more in the video below.

It has now been awarded the Blue Flag for water quality, environmental management, etc.
(Two other beaches with disabled beach access in UAE are Al Khan, Sharjah and Sharjah Ladies Club)
Al Hamriya Open Beach
The open beach also has gazebos but without seating, swings, play areas but no toilets. There are life guards at both.
Barbecuing is no longer allowed. You might be able to use a gas barbecue though. A mobile co-op comes at the weekend.
